YES!!!!!! THIS IS ENGLAND won best british film. Unfortunately Shane Meadows wasn't nominated for best director and Stephen Graham wasn't nominated for best supporting actor even though he completely OWNED Javier Bardem and gave one of the best performances of the past two decades.
