The Queen of Pop won for Best Long Form Music Video for her Confessions tour at the pre-telecast ceremony.

      Anyway, I hate when people say M is overrated. Hardly. Madge has to ride more criticism than anyone and she's been the top of her game proving haters wrong for 25+ years. When will detractors learn - she is a consumate professional, amazing artist and performer and cannot be put out to pasture.

      Confessions tour was an artistic masterpiece, and it deserved far more than a grammy. I doubt she cares anyway. I think its more about getting butts in the seats for $200 a head and damn I continue to pay it everytime she puts on a show like that! It's an amazing show with some truly iconic moments.

      Just so you know, I was in the audience at the Paradise Garage in 1983 when she sang "Holiday"..I distinctly remember her saying to a stunned audience "let's see if you pussies can take it"….the contempt and attitude she displayed that night forever galvanized my opinion of her, regardless of her commercial success, be advised that all she ultimately cares about is selling $200 seats….but I saw the real deal that night…anyone else remember???

I met her before she was really anyone, and she was a huge bitch back then (I think it was when she was playing with the band Emmy, or something). My friend complimented her on how well they did that night and she said something to the effect of "That's why I'm a star, bitch". Uhh… a thank you would've been nice, y'know?

      Madonna's BRILLIANT Confessions Tour should have won a Grammy. the opening of the show alone is Grammy worthy. its a BRILLIANT show and she worked her ass off (as did her AMAZING AMAZING dancers and band) and for all of you that call her bones old remember she is kicking the younger chicks asses!!! and if you are silly enough to hold something she said to an audience 25 years ago against her…clearly your lack of love has not held her back.
