Hollywood Gets Back To Work

The strike is over.
The Oscars are on.
We can all return back to normal now.
Writers are expected to get back to work on Wednesday, after finalizing the new deal in a Guild member vote on Tuesday.
Yay!

This makes me insanely happy. As an actor in Canada, things got tough, even though there were still Canadian things going on. I, for one, am glad for all the folks who get to go back to work and support themselves and their families again doing what they love. Strikes are beneficial in some ways, but are so harmful in so many others, sometimes the bad outweighing the good, and I'm happy to see resolution.

The production gears are creaking back to life!

Also, all you silly, silly people who post inane things like "third beyatches" when you're 16th need to find something far more substantial to get excited about. I guarantee Perez doesn't give a shit about who posted first, or third, or 16th, for that matter. Get outside, or something. Fresh air.
