Rihanna-FIERCE, Amy was great (looking healthier), Kanye was touching (until he got cocky) and Beyonce with Tina was great! Love the new looks that Rihanna and Beyonce were rocking. Actually, I thought Amy was good, but Beyonce ruined the Tina performance, Rihanna ruined The Time performance, and pretty much the whole thing was terrible! Josh Grobin and Andrea Bocelli were the only ones worth while, oh, and the little kid who sang let it be!

I'm sorry to say this, but I also am one of those people who are happy coz Kanye didn't win Album of the Year. I just don't get why he's so effing obsessed with winning an award. I know he's a genius in his field, but if he's a true musician, his priority shouldn't be about winning a goddamn award and throwing a tantrum after losing. Telling Amy that the album award is his during his rap album acceptance speech was FAR from classy and appreciative of what he just got awarded. Awards shows have been complete jokes the past few years. But atleast the Grammy's decided to substitute repetitive award givings with diverse performances. Sure, there were some hot messes and some comic relief acts. But if the Grammys needs to showcase artists they need to to showcase the artists with vitality. Beyonce held her own pretty well with Tina. Their energy was tangible. Sure, notes were missed, but Beyonce held her own against Tina the Queen of R and R. I can't imagine another current R&B performer who has the performance power and the vocals to stand against Tina. Though they are artists in their own right their souls were pitch perfect.
