Where's My $$?

New Line Cinema has been slapped with another Lord of the Rings lawsuit.

A few years ago Rings director Peter Jackson sued the movie studio for underpaying him by millions.

Now, on Monday, reps for the estate of Lord of the Rings creator, J.R.R. Tolkien, filed a suit in LA claiming New Line failed to pay them their cut of gross profits. The estate claims that the film company made $6 billion off the three Rings movies and is required to pay 7.5% of gross receipts to the estate and its partners.

That's a lot of cash that's due!

This is probably the last thing that the studio needs. A major shake up is already in the cards for New Line.

Expect the layoffs to happen soon.

      If I could have any appendage added to my body, I would love to have a tail. Not a little 'nub' for a tail, but a nice long slightly turned up tail. So when I am excited I can wag it. Or if I am just having an impressive day, I can walk around and ever so slightly move my tail from side-to-side. It will be like the new hair flip!!!

      Amazing ! Mario actually reported LEGITIMATE INTERESTING NEWS. Of course, this is necause Peter won THE HOBBIT battle. That was only won out of New Line desperation because THE GOLDEN COMPASS bombed. If the GOLDEN COMPASS did as well as Narnia, then this situation would not have happened. The truth is, Peter Jackson's success has nothing to do with ANYTHING BUT the Tolkien estate. Peter films were never successful and attributing Tolkien's success to him, is a big mistake.
