Lenny Kravitz has been hospitalized!

The rocker was taken in for treatment in our hometown of Miami.

According to his spokesperson, he is suffering from severe bronchitis.

Kravitz had been suffering from a series of severe respiratory tract infections coupled with the flu since mid-January, and the illness has evolved into bronchitis. Doctors apparently were not able to control his illness with outpatient treatment and he was advised by professionals to check into a hospital.

His estimated length of stay was not released.

Lenny's illness forced him to postpone a European promotion tour for his album It Is Time For a Love Revolution, which was released last week.

First Dolly. Now Lenny.

Hospitalizations and canceling promo tours are the latest publicity stunt!

Get well Lenny! Gawd, he's still HOOOOTTTT and smokin at what, 40? Sorta odd that someone as relatively young and presumably healthy as him could get that sick but maybe he put it off too long and did not go to the doctor soon enough. Pneumonia is some freaky shit - my husband is 37 and had bronchitis one time and he was literally 1 day away from winding up in the hospital with pneumonia but he got to the clinic in time to just get antibiotics.
