Farrah Fawcett looked healthy and happy as she returned to Los Angeles via LAX Airport on Tuesday night.

The actress is said to have successfully beaten her cancer (again) after alternative treatments in Europe.

Yay! Glad she's doing so well. Cancer is horrible and such a scary thing.

And why do people have to always say such nasty-ass stuff when there's a post about something positive? Are they just so full of hate and jealousy that they only like to hear bad things about people? I dont know what treatment she had in europe, but not ALL "alternative cancer treatments" are covered by our mandatory health insurances here in Germany.

Anyway, I hope that in your next election you in the U.S. will get a DEMPOCRATS Government that makes a "standard health insurance" mandatory for ALL people in the US, employed and for those without jobs (in the latter case the insurance is paid by the German social authorities, e.g.

In Germany, all employers have to pay about 50 % of the insurance fees for their employees, and all "medicalla required treatments are covered by it.

I am a cancer survivor myself, and I am so glad that she is doing well. She looks great. I am in my 30's and went through chemotherapy. I remember looking in the mirror one day during this time and not recognizing myself. I looked so old from all the chemotherapy drugs in my system. People made rude comments about my appearance, but it only made me stronger. Now I am cancer free, going on two years. I look and feel like myself again, in fact, even better since I am healthy and cancer free. I only wish her the best. Go Farrah. I hope you see this.

My guess is that Farrah will be dead soon. "Alternative treament" = alternative to real medicine (ie. - desperation). Unless she received proven chemotherapy or other known interventions during her "alternative therapy" trip, she will most liiely die far sooner than she should have.

The most deadly brain cancer type is the glioblastoma multiforme. My friends father has it and undergoes treatment in Germany. They told him he ll have 3-24 months to live still…Unfortunately I m not allowed to link another website, but see "wikipedia.de" and then choose the "English" version. There area also U.S. Organizazions listed there which can perhaps give you information as to any new / alternative treatments available or the clinical trials where perhaps one can take part in as a patient.
I know that in Germany, and other countries as well, a lot of clinical studies are conducted, the latest seems to be "nano-particle treatment" - do not know whether I have translated it correctly.

In German this type of brain cancer is called "Glioblasthom" - type it into google and you ll find the German brain cancer organizations and doctors. You sometimes can choose the language "English" on the web sites as well.

unfortantely Farrah has said she was cured of her rare and highly aggressive cancer before. Most cancer patients try the alternative medicine when the chemotherapy has failed.I hope its true but I dont think she is cured at all. Suzy Pleshette also said she was cancer free just weeeks before she died.
