Madonna was interviewed yesterday in Berlin about her new short film, Filth and Wisdom.

This video of her is so unintentionally hilarious, we LOVE it!

1) Her face is frozen, just like her song.

2) The British accent is back!

It's Madonna. She can still do no wrong.

ugh, i can't stand her. she is so unbelievably condescending towards the interviewer it's ridiculous. she just wants to be different from other celebrities and i read some of the comments on here about how they say her face DOES move, you're dumb because if you notice it's only her lips that move. everything else…not so much. she's extremely overrated and a huge BITCH. I don't care who you are, you are no more better off than a regular joe shmo in the end.

I don't hear much of an accent. When you live in a place for long, most people can't help but develop the accent. We've had friends live in Texas for a few years and they're starting to develop a bit of Texas accent - even an occassional "y'all" !! It's human nature. I don't think Madonna is "trying" to speak with an accent at all. It just comes from living out of the U.S. for such a long time. She sounds great to me - and looks Fabulous!

She uses the phrase, "sort of," as many British people do. I think her slight accent has naturally evolved from spending most of her time with British people. I'm happy to see Madonna working behind the scenes instead of focusing on her old narcicistic self. I'm curious to see how much depth there is to her writing. She sounds intelligent when she speaks even though her ideas are not really original. If most of her characters are an offshoot of herself in some way, she may have written something fascinating to share.

I knew madonna was gonna refer to that person in her flim as christopher flinn before she said it. Apart from the accent she puts on when she remembers, she sounds like a parrot. She sounds as though she is just repeating words and sentences she has heard which sound fancy so she lumps them all together making her sound long-winded and not making too much sense. I can't believe she got these cheek implants. Just looks at her pics from last year and you will see. She has been going crazy with plastic surgery. For COTDF she got a nose job and face lift. the sort-of English accent really makes her seem mentally ill. it went away when she said she grew up in the Midwest - funny. but she started talking this way back in the early 90s, long before she lived in the UK, so you can't attribute it to her living there. i remember pointing it out back then and none of my friends knew what i was talking about until Sat. Night Live or MadTV did a sketch about it, some awards show thing. hilarious.

i really feel sorry for her kids. she seems like a narcissist…an insecure narcissist with sharp edges and no sense of humor.

your accent is established around age 11. that's why it's hard to learn a new language as an adult. when Americans speak like this it's strange and annoying no matter how long they've lived in England. the Brits i know don't sound American at all, after 10-20 years in the States.

it's not that hard to avoid if you don't want to sound pretentious. i mean, she's in Berlin, not England, for this interview. also, it's not like she talked demurely before - did you see any of her 80s movies? her speech was extreme in a totally different way. it's one thing to give up the U.S. slang or drop the occasional "rubbish bin"; it's another to sound this formal–it's the behavior of someone who doesn't know who she is.
