"Keith Urban Gave Me His Guitar!"
Perezcious reader Marissa got a very special gift from Keith Urban at his concert last night.
This is what she has to tell us about the experience:
"Just wanted to send my Valentine's wishes and to share a funny story with you. Last night my friend Todd took me to the Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban concert at MSG in NYC. I was sporting a cowgirl shirt from my friend, Meg (a big Perez fan). It was my first country concert and will now surely NOT be my last. Carrie was stunning and amazing, but when Keith came out…damn. Quite the dreamboat :o)
While playing his song "You look good in my shirt" Keith came into the crowd and into my row. I was so excited!!! And then as I was taking pictures he whipped off his guitar, signed it and handed it to me!

i was there too…so cool when he went into the crowd…i didn't realize he gave the guitar away, but i noticed he left with one and grabbed a new one when he came back to the stage…thought he had handed the other one to his security to cut back through the crowd…lucky gal!

That's why country music is the best…the artists really care about their fans and try to connect with them on a personal level. Every country concert I've been to has been amazing…the singers will spend time afterwards talking to fans and giving autographs, and you'd never see pop stars doing that.
Keith Urban is great in concert. & he loves his fans. I saw him 2 yrs ago and there was a pregnant girl in the crowd with a sign, he brought her on stage, read the sign on the mic "im 7 months preg but i wouldnt miss your concert for anything in the world" , sang to her on stage, picture and kissed her belly!!!!!!!!!

i was at that concert last night, keith urban is AMAZING!! I was also at his mohegan sun concert a few weeks ago, and he did the same thing during the same song. It's part of the show - and its brilliant!

People make the lamest comments on here. But I was at the concert last night- such an amazing show with wonderful sets by both Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban. I couldn't believe it when he gave the guitar away either… and he managed to sign it and continue singing the song, all while he was in the audience. You rarely see musicians leave the stage more than a few feet but Keith went all the way out into the audience pretty far. So cool!
He did that at the London, Ontario, Canada concert, too. If you search that show on YouTube, the girl who got the guitar has made some comments, lol.
Concert rocked, by the way. I really want to see him and Carrie Underwood during this tour!

Although it sounds cool it isn't really his personal guitar. It's a promo guitar. He plays gibson les paul that cost $2,000. That guitar is an Epiphone les paul….$100. Still a badass gift though!!

I went to the Keith and Carrie at Mohegan Sun with my sister and he did the same thing (gave it to a guy though). it was actually kinda cool….he's singing on stage and then just jumps off and is in the crowd before you can realize it….Honeslty I like some country music but only knew like two of his songs when we went to the concert….and i will say he is one of the best performers I have seen……
