Poppa's Still In Charge

The Britney drama never ends!

On Thursday, another court hearing was held to determine what changes/if any should be made in the former pop star's life.

And, a Los Angeles Commissioner decided to extend her father's role as conservator. So, that means, until Brit Brit's next court hearing on March 10th, Jamie Spears will be captain on her ship.

Additionally, Spears' brother, Bryan, has been named trustee of his sister's estate.

While poppa controls who she sees and how she runs her life, big bro will rule her finances.

And, Britney was also ordered to undergo a 730 evaluation - to help determine child custody. The results of that evaluation need to be turned in to the court by the next hearing.

So many changes! All for the better, we think.

#19 I disagree, the court determines who is best at this point, and right now its her family, shes doing well, responding, there are checks and balances and reports to the court, as long as there is progress & shes doing well, there is no need for any independent org or portfolio to handle her estates and her affairs and her person. Trust the judges and Drs and all consumed with Brits mental stability are all on the same page. Family first. Shes been under duress and emotional IQ of a young person, her differences with her parents may have been over rated, over blown , over dramatized by Brit due to her state of mind. None of us know for sure what really goes on unless you are there, as its all in the eyes of the beholder. She has been raised and loved as a child, and they helped her strive to success, so thats not all bad. None of us can say for certain how we would react to all the pressures of life in the fish bowl of success and money!

In my opinion, this whole mess kinda started with her family years ago. I kinda feel that child star parents have a parasitic relationship with their children for the most part. Yes, the girl definitely fell in with a bad crowd in recent years, but she had a poor foundation to begin with. Definitely a bad idea to have a family in charge of finances of that magnitude. Even if he has a legal or financial background, it still seems like conflict of interest..in my opinion.
