    Don't blame the internet
Blame the shit/lies that they print
When I was growing up the NYT was considered the finest paper in the world, but as time went by, the Times went down, it printed lies, and than more lies
In doing so it lost readers, and than advertisers

    Tell the truth

Thank God! The NYT makes the Natl Midnight Star look like a reputable rag. The NYT is the most traitorous publication in this country. I cant wait until the Internet kills them off completely. The place is run by communists.

Is anyone really surprised??? It was bound to happen! News is only a mouse click away nowadays. Now for the Newspaper and magazine companies to call it quits one by one…The net has saved us time & money

Damn it Perez, STOP REPORTING ON NOBODIES! I don't come to this site to read about people being fired from their boring jobs. I come here to read about Britney's craziness, Lohan's sluttiness, and other important issues. If I wanted to read about a bunch of NOBODIES getting fired, I can read that anywhere else.

Blame the internet?? uh..I don't think so..blame the New York Times which has turned into the most slanted, biased untrustworthy source of news in the Country. For those who follow these things, they have become a laughing stock.

They took sides with the enemy during this war. Good people, whether they believe in this war or not, know that is NOT the right thing to do.

internet, not internets. And blame sites like yours. And there is also the fact that the ny times backed Hillary and she keeps playing it over and over. People who don't believe in the ny times views are likely to cancel. Also, their Sunday edition is at least $3.50, maybe more. You have 3 other papers in the area that are $1.

The economy sucks every where. We need a president that will bring jobs back to the united states and quit outsourcing everything to india and where ever else they are sending our jobs. It's BullSHit and it will be the what brings us down…that and Bush, but wait he already did that.

  20. You are OK Perez says – reply to this

This is happening to newspapers all around the country. Newspapers are a pain they pile up and are a pain to deal with the recycling, etc. It's so much easier to hop online and read the news quickly. Who has time to really read through all of the articles in the paper. My husband reads the NY Times on his way into the office on the train in the morning, but who else has the time to sit and read through all that???

    22

Good. Maybe this will motivate them to reconsider their extreme left-wing, anti-American bias, not just on their editorial pages, where that kind of thing belongs, but in their allegedly objective news stories.

Re: gia – You really think that outsourcing is Bush's fault? See, this is why the left has no credibility. Tell me ONE policy enacted by Bush that has led to outsourcing. I can tell you at least 10 liberal policies that have led to outsourcing. The amount of lying that comes from your side is just bizarre.

Blame the internets. People still don't get the joke. That's what the (US) president called the internet in a TV interview once. He seems to think there's several internets in the world.

No, Perez. Blame the fact that it's a SHITTY newspaper. They certainly "slowed down" their election coverage once Hillary started losing (since they endorsed her) KIND OF LIKE YOU!!!! Moron.

The fact that that Tara girl left a comment saying/implying that no one needs newspapers, and all we need is you, shows the devistating place our country and apparently the idiots and canada have come to. While I truly enjoy the hilarity of your posts, it's disgusting that people don't understand the necessity for journalism or real newspapers.

Oh and the rest of your comments so far, the NYT doesn't suck, the majority of your readers are probably just lacking intelligence to read most of the articles the NYT posts. =)

It's not the internet taking away from the times, it's idiots like TARA who care more about B-Spears then the news in our countries

Re: journalism student – I agree with you about the necessity of newspapers, but only impartial journalism. Once journalists become a wing of a particular party, as the NYT has become for Democrats, their credibility is gone, and the nation is in danger. Can't you see that?

The New York Times is going out of business because they care nothing about the truth or facts, only thier political agenda. That rag is a joke. They should partner up with Al Jazeera.

THE NY TIMES AND THE LA TIMES ARE FAILING BECAUSE THEY ARE EXTREME LEFT RAGS, THE TELL LIES TO SUPPORT THEIR LEFTIST AGENDA, AND THE PEEPS ARE GETTING TIRED OF IT.

MSNBC, IS LIKE A VIDEO VERSION OF THE TIMES, AND THEY ARE ALSO GOING DOWN THE SHOOT, FAST.

Blame internets? Maybe slightly. Blame Rupert Murdoch The uber Republican who owns EVERYTHING from Fox, CNN, Twenty four magazines, HarperCollins, 20th Century Fox, and satellite companies.

He is also made it a point to push his personal views on the comapanies he has owned (firing democratic empolyees of fox) and has long said that the "liberal bias" was comming out of New York Times.

    Hmmmm?

No Perez. Blame the extreme left agenda of that organization. Blame the lies, the bias reporting, etc, etc. A newspaper should be IMPARCIAL, they should not, by any circumstance, show political preference of any type. Nobody who thinks for themself buy that newspaper. They are losing America so they are firing people.-Of course they do.

As a newspaper editor, comments from people like Tara don't really bother me.
Even without the Internet, she wouldn't be reading newspapers.
Times are changing and newspapers have to adapt.

I was one of the "lower-hanging fruit" (lol) that was cut from the New York Times tree. My position was bought-out and outsourced to India! Bah.. at least now I have more time to read the all the news Perez can print!
