A Taste Of Madonna's New Music

Yes, Madonna goes hip hop on her new album, due in April.

We're a bit 'anxious' about this latest turn in her musical direction, but we like the three new songs that have leaked thus far. That's a good sign.

American Life and her rapping still haunts us, though.

Rolling Stone magazine has just heard five songs from M's new album.

She doesn't have the best pipes but Madonna has done a lot with her talent. Really the other two biggies from her era are Michael Jackson and Prince. Jackson is predator and should be in jail. Prince and Madonna are the only two still standing.

Fuck that! This is exactly why this shit won't go away. I work with young folk and everytime I try to turn them on to great American music, that is real music like, Blues, Gospel, Jazz, Country, Soul, Rock & Roll, even that really old stuff, Ragtime, some aging has-been who should be concentrating her career in another direction, tries to be hip and twenty years old again. I know Madonna has always been into the Urban sound and she is known to be a chameleon, but this is just stupid. Madonna get out of the game and take Janet with you. I love you older ladies but both of you need to mellow out your style and do something appropriate that doesn't include bopping around on style with teenage backup dancers. Both of you need to go into movies producing and directing or something worthwhile. By the way, don't send me no hate mail because I have always liked Madonna.
