A Taste Of Madonna's New Music

Yes, Madonna goes hip hop on her new album, due in April.

We're a bit 'anxious' about this latest turn in her musical direction, but we like the three new songs that have leaked thus far. That's a good sign.

American Life and her rapping still haunts us, though.

Rolling Stone magazine has just heard five songs from M's new album.

After all that surgery, she kind of looks like Raquel Welch. Check out the cheek-bones, the nose and lips. Well, she's got the do-re-mi to have whatever she needs done. Why do so many people still think Madonna is some kind of trend-setter or envelope-pusher?! This is yet more proof that she's not; working with the likes of Timbaland and Timberlake YEARS after their initial success. As has become customary for Madonna, she is almost the last to jump on the R&B bandwagon. Not that I think she should be jumping on it at all - how about doing something original or different? Sadly, Madonna's days as any kind of trend-setter are many years behind her…

She tried the rap thing and it failed miserably…did she learn nothing from that? Probably not since she hasn't really learned from her miserable acting career either.

She definitely has had some sort of injection/work in her eye and cheek area (hence all the bruising a few weeks ago). Her face is looking much fuller and refreshed.

I do like Madonna however I dont know how much i will like the fact that she's manipulating her sound just to sell, its almost like she's selling out. It's like if u want radio play make a britney/justin/nelly fertado sounding track and your gauranteed airplay at the present moment, but its not like she really needs the mega sales or airplay so I would appreciate a more genuine album from her rather than the same ole timbo techno-hip hop sounding songs that we'll probably get.

Also, I really dont get how people are commenting how ugly/strange/old she looks. She looks perfectly normal to me in this pic, maybe a little bit pulled, but by no means a hag.
