Pete Doherty's fans have an odd way of showing their affection!
The druggie rocker played a gig at the Tonhalle in Munich, Germany on Saturday night. After the show, an exhausted-looking Doperty took some time to greet fans outside the venue from the dressing rooms.
One overzealous person, though, decided to take home an extra special souvenir!
A shirtless and sweaty Petey looked like he was passing a stone as a fan ripped off a bandage he had on his hand.
So gross!
Doperty soon recovered from his ordeal, though, and he began throwing cookies to the assembled crowd before leaving.
He's such a giver. And his fans love to take!
Why does he have fans again?????

If you were observant enough to read through page 1 of the comments (particularly # 65) you would have seen that I, and a large number of other individuals who posted comments, do support Doherty (or if not him as a person his music at least). He is an awesome (for lack of a better word) songwriter who, to me, should be considered one of the great poets of our time (next to conor oberst of course…but thats a different story). I guess thats it. Happy family day everyone.

To all the people saying he's a musical genius:
Problem is, the drugs and the songwriting go hand in hand. If he wasn't under the influence while writing all those songs, they wouldn't have turned out anywhere close to how they did. This is especially true for many 'talented' people. It's not always so much that they're 'talented', it's got more to do with the fact that the drugs allow them to explore their artistic sides and perspective in ways that sober people just can't.

Perez, I think Perezhilton.com is fabulous and i read it at least once a day if possible. But the question of 'why does Pete Doherty have fans?' is ridiculous. Have you are any of the sheep leaving these idiotic comments even heard Babyshambles most recent project, "Shotters Nation"? he has what looks like a "shooters" abscess on that wrist. often the vein in wrist is used when rest of the veins are blown, although it is very painful to inject there. and when you end up with an abscess there the pain is excrutiating.

He has fans that are the loyalist of fans any artist would be lucky to have all because he is so intelligent and talented and he is infact a musical genius. It's a shame the media comment far too much on his personal life rather than his excellent music. But what does it matter what everyone else thinks, we, the fans listen and appreciate his music and we get him and his brilliance and maybe someday the rest of the world will understand him too. I feel priveliged to listen to his lyrics he is by far the best artist around.
