David and Victoria celebrated youngest son Cruz's 3rd birthday a few days early on Sunday.
The Beckhams took their kids to check out a bit of theater in New York.
Their choice of show?
The Little Mermaid.
We have a feeling Cruz will like Spider-Man the musical a bit more when that opens soon. With music by Bono!

Yes they are, $400 at Saks, they will grow out of them in one season.
$1200 for a couple of months, makes me not like them, so many kids go without even a Walmart coat.

I wonder if Posh just would love to wear some jeans and sneakers or flats. Seems like more comfortable attire for chasing around 3 boys yet she has to dress like shes on the runway every day and stand there like a statue. Just be comfortable dude. Its your day off. Just relax and enjoy your boys and dont worry about that photo op. They will be all grown before you know it. Dont be so hungry for the spotlight. Its your husband we really care about anyway. Spending his millions on clothes for yourself and getting photographed in them doesnt make you less of a has been.

I'm always bashing this couple because I think they are totally vacuous. But, I must say in there favor, they do appear to spend much more time with their kids as a family than our average Hollywood bimbos and bimbettes.
Do you ever wonder how exhausting being "fashionable" must be for some people and their families so deeply concerned over how they look ALL THE TIME! Looking put together well, clean and comfortable and appropriately dressed for the day, event, job requirement is a great thing and important for good morale, etiquette and image; however, it's gotta be sometimes exhausting for some - s'all I'm sayin'.
This should be filed under Harry Potter, not David Letterman.

um…the kids weren't in school because it was Sunday…
I was actually at Little Mermaid when they were there and the two of them were adorable with their kids. They walked around with them and were friendly to all of us onlookers. She even went up to the gift shop and bought her boys shirts (didn't get some bodyguard to do it for her).
Also, why not bring the boys to see The Little Mermaid? They are kids. What is wrong with that show? It was a perfect choice. If they brought them to some other show, that would be wrong.
I was so excited when I saw the Beckhams at Little Mermaid (they are even more gorgeous in person), and I applaud the time and love the share with their children.
