Oh please. If you consume any animal products, including, but not limited to, meat, dairy, and eggs, then you should really just sit down and shut the fuck up. YOU'RE contributing to animal cruelty of the nastiest sort, so you really have no leg to stand on concerning animal welfare. Quit trying to make yourself feel better by being against fur - you're still paying people to abuse and slaughter animals for every bite of your meals. If you think slaughter houses are humane, or that egg farms are a fantasy land for chickens, then think again.
This is coming from a vegan, and even I don't preach to people about being kind to animals. If you don't want to be nice to animals then that's your choice. Don't run around trying to make other people feel bad for their decisions when you're making bad ones with every meal of the day. GET OVER YOURSELF. You're helping a VERY small proportion of the animal population by being against fur. Chances are you were wolfing down yogurt or a hamburger or something as you wrote your anti-fur opinions.
To me, someone like you is comparable to a serial rapist talking down to an occasional rapist. Very few people wear (or buy for that matter) fur on a daily basis, while chances are YOU eat animal products throughout the day. Do you not see the hypocrisy in that? People who go on eating an omnivorous diet while being against fur are self righteous assholes looking for a way to make themselves feel superior.

You REALLY don't want me to get into the health aspects of an omnivorous diet; they're completely unnecessary and oftentimes more harmful then a vegan diet. When you know more about vegan diets then the US National Institute of Health and The American Dietetic Association, let me know and I'll debate you on it. Otherwise, I'll ignore you if you bring up "vitamins" that vegans are missing when you can't even fucking label them for me.

Not just animals like cows and chickens being rasied for meat but the poor foxes and such being killed for their fur. It's a matter of waking up in the morning and knowing the choices you make do impact the world on many levels. If you want to wear or eat animal products thats certainly your choice, but for you to just write it off as "its just an animal so what?" proves how ill educated you are about animal cruelty along with the simple fact you are a fucking loser.

For all of you who feel challenged by fur, but not by eating meat or wearing leather…I suggest you think about how many cows and pigs and sheep are cruelly mutilated everyday. To me…there is no difference between wearing fur and eating meat. For those of you who hate fur because you can not afford it….be honest about it.

Leather especially– why do people freak out so much over leather? It's made from cow hide, and cows are eaten. So to not make leather out of them is a waste.
God put animals on this earth for us to EAT. Why should wearing fur make any difference? Just as long as the animals are killed humanely. I saw a PETA video once where an animal had it's coat ripped off while it was still alive. I do have a problem with that.
