Eminem, has-been rapper, wannabe actor, and now author?
The Detroit native, real name Marshall Mathers, is wokring on a tell-all memoir which will include details on his life story, photographs, journal notes, hand-drawn sketches, and lyrics.
This woulda been hot….five years ago!
Eminem: The Way I Am is to be published by Orgion Books.
The book is scheduled for release in the U.K. on October 16 of this year.
A representative for Orion Books, Ian Preece, stated "Everyone has their own take on Eminem. Because of where he is from, people think they know where he is at, what kind of person he really is. This book cuts through all that and gets to the source."
Eminem's team isn't too happy with the leaking of this information, as they claim it is still a work in progress. A rep for Eminem told MTV News, "There is no firm release date scheduled, although it is anticipated to arrive in the latter part of this year. It's unfortunate that someone who does not have intimate knowledge of [the project] felt compelled to jump the gun on announcing it."
The audio version of the book should be narrated by Elton John!

I'm not interested in him or the memoir, but several of my friends I'm sure would be. I doubt it'll be too bad since I'm sure they'll edit it to death to make it worth while, and I have a feeling his life and experiences will make for an interesting read. Kudos to Eminem and his managers for finding another outlet to make money!
