After the cancellation of their European tour and this ominous post on their official blog, many people thought Paramore were on the verge of breaking up.

That isn't the case, lead singer Hayley Williams would like to assure us.

She just posted the following:

"the music our collisions make!

hello everyone…

since we posted the last entry, we’ve gotten tons of phone calls and people posting things on websites saying that we are breaking up. i just want to make it clear, though, that by posting two nights ago we weren’t saying the band was over. we posted because we are going through hard times and we felt that because we have a really good support system in you guys, our fans, it would be better for us to just be honest about what’s going on - even though, it was a pretty vague explanation. man, some of the rumors that i’ve heard going around are insane! it’s weird how out of hand things can get even when you just try to tell a simple truth. (for the record, my eggo is not preggo). anyway, we just need to take time to make this band the best it can be… and we are doing that now.

thank you for all the love and the encouragement you guys have shown. and WE WILL! be seeing you guys on the 27th of March in Orlando, FL"

    They're not breaking up. ever. They're too good of a band to do that, and their friendship is way too good. I love Paramore, but I still wonder.. if it really wasn't that big of a deal, and they just want to "make the band the best it can be", then why couldn't they hold out for another week and finish that European tour? Somethings not right.

    OK this is news that they may or may not be breaking up should not come to a shock to anyone who knows the band's history. They have had several changes in their band line up. The only people I think you can really count on in staying in this band is the Farro brothers and maybe Hayley?? But anyways I hope that they are being serious about not breaking up b/c I think they are AWESOME and really love the current line up!

    Paramore is an amazing band, to all you dumbasses saying that they are nobody, maybe you should try and watch them live, then you'll see that they are better than the piece of crap that is out there today. I loved Paramore since they were a small band playing in little venues, and they have been working their ass off to make it. Hayley is an amazing performer but Hayley without Zac, Josh and Jeremey is nothing. They have a connection on stage that gets the crowd going, so if she went solo, it wouldnt be as great as it is. Im glad they arent breaking up. They are too great of a band.
