Seriously, I think anything beyond making-out is too sexual before marriage. I haven't gone as far as kissing, but I seriously believe in waiting. I wear a purity ring myself, and it means the world to me. Sally (Comment #3) I'm sixteen, not twenty but I have gone sixteen years without kissing, I can got another hundred or two seriously, my needs are based on how I want to live my life, not how much sex I "need" to have. I'm sorry if that seems harsh, but that's how I feel.

It depends from person to person…Typically if it is a vow compelled by someone's spiritual beliefs, all sexual conduct is refrained from before marriage. That is the vow I have taken. Even my lips are waiting! I know I'll never regret it.

they have made a promise to themselves and God that they will stay sexually pure until marriage
anything involving sexual relations like hand jobs and blow jobs are apart of those relations.

The Jonas brothers are GREAT guys who have amazing moral values and I share the same values, And both of those DISGUSTING things DO count. I KNOW N&J&K are staying TOTALLY pure. The Jonas Brothers are well respected people. They come from a family with very high ecpectations. All the negative comments you say about them are unessacary (sp). I love listening to their music. They are great role models for the tweens that look up to them. And I truley believe they will stick to their promise rings.

theyre christian, and its a vow to stay completely pure. a person who does oral and all that other nonsense would not be considered completely pure. In fact it sounds quite dirty. gross. I know for a fact that they consider all of that a form of sex. Oral sex has the word SEX in it for crying out loud. counts as sex.

IT does count. The whole point of the vow is to save yourself for your future husband or wife because God created sex (all kinds)for a bond shared in MARRAIGE. That is what is believed when Christians take of vow of being sexually pure until marraige.
