The Jonas Brothers are pulling a Britney!

The teen pop sensations have taken a vow of chastity. PUBLICLY.

That's right, Kevin, Nick and Joe are boldly (and admirably) proclaiming that they plan to stay virgins until marriage.

They talk to Details magazine about their vow to remain sex-free until they wed.

On a quiet Friday morning in a dressing room at Madison Square Garden, the Jonas Brothers hold out their hands to show off their purity rings. Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas—the teen-pop trio who stand, at this very moment, on the brink of hugeness—wear the metal bands on their fingers to symbolize, as Joe puts it, "promises to ourselves and to God that we'll stay pure till marriage." Joe is 18. His ring is silver and adorned with a cross. "It actually ripped apart a little bit, just on the bottom, here, but I didn't want to get a new one, because this one means so much to me," he says. Nick, who is 15, says, "I got mine made at Disney World. It's pretty awesome." Kevin, at 20, is the oldest of the three, and while a punk-rock purity ring from Tiffany might represent the ultimate oxymoron, that's exactly what he's going for. His silver vow of abstinence is covered with studs. "It's pretty rock and roll," Kevin says. "It's getting banged up a little bit because of the guitar."

Oh please. Just look at Hanson (my frame of reference when it comes to the JoBro's). Granted they never made this proclamation but they are Southern Christian it was just assumed and look at them. Taylor had like 4 kids by the time he was Kevin's age (ok so he only had 1 at that time but he has 4 now) and he was married 4 months before his first was born. Ike was married 7 months before his first was born. The only one who holds out that he was a virgin at marriage was Zac and it's possible b/c Kate's due in May and they've been married for a couple of years now…but please. I have good family friends that are good family friends with the Jonas family. This family attended the same church as the Jonases. From this family I was told that the Jonas boys took a class about how its the right thing to stay "pure". They made that promise when they were still living here in Wyckoff and they will keep that promise until their wedding day. I have faith in the boys and they will not break this promise. And these promises are not stupid, its what they believe God wants them do to and they will stick to that.

I do not understand how "vowing" to abstain from sex gets such "admiration." We are such puritans about sex. Most people are going to have more than one sex partner in a lifetime regardless of how that meshes with the holy book of fairy tales. Not to mention that most people are getting married later in life so this vow is gonna last until 30? Not likely. I am certainly not advocating teenagers having multiple partners but when you become an adult you get to engage in adult activities. And if you do so in a safe way then that is truly admirable.

I think their vow is most admirable as is their relationship with Christ and their willingness of speak of it unashamedly. Those of you who scoff really have serious internal issues. When someone else's desire to follow God angers you, you have to know that you are the one who is messed up. this is one of the many reasons why the boys are so amazing, they are different and even though it will be hard, they remain to take stances against what the world looks at as 'the norm'. i have e-mailed them back and forth about there rings, apparently 2 years ago i was the first fan that noticed, because i have had a purity ring as well. i am 17, and so glad to see that there are guys out there that hold the same morals. God bless and He has these boys, i support them 100%. and all those people who say they won't make it, apparently don't realize how much strength the Lord provides you with daily, it's possible to resist temptation, keep your legs closed, and not be like everyone else.

Prince William & Kate Middleton's Baby Birth Will Be Announced On Twitter!?

Back when Prince William was born, the tradition was to post a note announcing the birth on the front gates of Buckingham Palace!

But times have changed, and William and Kate Middleton's child will be announced a bit differently- via Twitter!

According to Now Magazine, the news of the royal baby's birth will be posted immediately to the Clarence House website, which will automatically tweet the story!

But the Palace wants everyone to know, they are NOT planning on bucking tradition. They officially stated:
