Rosie's Return To Television!

Rosie O'Donnell has just announced that she is working on a new TV program.
This time, however, it's not another talk show.
Ro made the announcement on her blog Friday evening that she was planning to appear in a new sitcom.
O'Donnell's pal Fran Drescher is expected to co-star.
The pair described the show as a "fun, happy, family comedy."
No word on how far along this sitcom is - just talks, pilot, network pickup.

Say what you will, but Rosie has decent comedic timing, and Drescher is a sitcom pro, so the success of this will depend entirely on the skills of the writers, along with it's appeal to the psyche of today's viewers.

Rosie, I know you want to focus on stuff that makes you happy and not be stressed out, but you have a purpose, and that is to open others' eyes. That is your purpose.
