TWO Big Brother Contestants Rushed To The Hospital!

First, there was that epic bitchfight.
Then, we discovered that one of the contestants dabbled in gay porn.
And, now, some MAJOR drama just went down overnight.
Both Amanda and Allison were rushed to the emergency room after two very different incidents occurred!
I-N-S-A-N-E!
Amanda, who is hypoglycemic, collapsed after not getting enough nutrition. And then she started having seizures! And it was all caught on the live feeds!
Other houseguest Allison ended up having to go to in the ambulance too. Apparently Allison had a severe allergic reaction to something she ate and she started getting hives, her lips were swollen shut, etc.
Their status at the moment is completely up in the air. Nobody knows if they'll be back, if they're okay, or anything.

Don't they screen these people to make sure they can handle the physical toll of not eating right? If you're hypoglycemic you shouldn't be doing that type of diet. It can KILL you.
I'm hypoglycemic, and if she knows that she is, then she should have known far enough ahead of time that her sugar was low and she needed to eat immediately. I start to sweat and shake a few minutes before I pass out, plenty of time to get some food down and get my sugar level up before it gets that bad.
If any of you are ever around a person that is passing out due to low sugar, the FIRST thing to do is to get them some food, preferably natural sugar like orange juice, or the best thing is bread with peanut butter on it. If you have no other choice, then some refined sugar will do for a quick fix, candy, etc. but the person will always need to follow that up with some real food as soon as possible.
Getting to the point of seizing due to low sugar, is basically inexcusable for a person that knows their condition. It took years for me to get properly diagnosed and see a nutritionist to learn about prevention and treatment, and I still have never had a seizure from low sugar. She needs to take much better care of herself.
I think thats appalling they didn't take her condition into consideration when handing out rations. Inhumane.

Big Brother has always been one of my fave reality tv shows. But I never agreed with them limiting people to PB&J or slop for exactly this reason. You never know how someone might react to this kind of diet. I hope they change this and replace it with another type of game. Maybe a game for Luxuries like use of the hot tub or pool. Even for food luxuries…..compete for special food items like if one team wins they get to have special dinners that the others don't. Anything would be better than starving half the house.

They need to keep glucogan in the house. Its a sugar shot that would make her feel better within 2-5minutes. I heard someone say give her some bread- you should NEVER give someone anything to drink or eat when they are non-responsive like that. They could choke. Thats why she should always keep the glucogan shot nearby and advise people how to use it in case she ever has a sever low blood sugar reaction.
The season is complete chaos and the worst one ever. People that should have advanced have had their chances screwed by this twist. Even the players act like they don't give a crap.

If your hypoglycemic u can feel when ur gonna have an attack and stop it in time by eating, my friend gets faint almost an hour before she comes close to an attack and has something to eat, if anyones retarded enough to feel an attack coming and not do anything to prevent it they deserve it.
