      This shows what an awkward tool Seacrest is…a good interviewer would have indulged Busey, but since Ryan is like that stiff high school guy who hangs out with the popular kids and in an attempt to prove he is "popular," rejects anything that doesn't conform to the stereotype of popularity with which he has grown accustomed, he thought that subtly making fun of Busey would be better….jokes on him, because in that sequence, Busey comes off as more likable than Garner or Seacrest….

      and another thing…did you notice the woman with Busey (his wife/girlfriend?) ? She didn't react at all to Busey, nor did Laura Linney. I think Linney is the important thing to focus on because there was such a stark contrast between how she and Garner approached Busey. Linney was respectful and polite, Garner was arrogant and insulting. Seacrest was the worst of all however because (as I said in my previous post) he treated Busey like an unpopular kid at high school. The problem is, jokes like "I'll see you at the party" (and then laughing at the person behind their back) got old after the 9th grade….
