      At least what he says is TRUE! BTW…to those here who commented that the Oscars are not about TV…..well that may be true, but then why do they invite some and not others? Why would Heidi Lum and Seal be invited? WHy would other models, singers and yes, other TV people show up with invitations?? It does sound quite a bit like "selective" (or snobbish) invites.

      Simon's right. The film people have always looked down on people in television. Hollywood thespians believe that they are better than the actors and actresses on tv. When tv people leave the small screen they never want to go back to it because they consider it a step down in their career.

      I love it. I love that he's rich and LOVED, because he speaks the goddamn TRUTH. The movie industry is absolutely elitist against all other entertainment mediums; it's a joke. Most of Hollywood's kids go to the school at which I work, and trust: the movie parents so try to keep their own shameless clique, snubbing everyone else. So stupid. The old money crowd laughs at them and wants nothing to do with them, but the hollywood morons think they are shizzz, when they are embarrassing nouveau riche losers …

      Aren't they snobs? There has ALWAYS been a line between movies, tv and good forbid, soap opera actors. Soap Operas were the work people did if they couldn't get on a regular tv show, or if they were first starting out. People do Broadway to show off their range of acting. actors are questioned if they go from movies to TV! (K. Sutherland, A. Baldwin, C. Sheen). It is considered a step down for alot and they only 'grace' tv to promote their next movie. So, he is not wrong. He probably is looked at like a peeon. Only thing is, he is alot richer than these celebrities.
