Back on Broadway

Sarah Jessica Parker is going back to her roots!

Not only is the actress going back to her role as Carrie in Sex & The City, but she is also set to make her return to Broadway.

SJPeePee will take on the role of an Italian flight attendant in the stage production of 60's comedy pic Boeing Boeing, beginning April at NYC's Longacre Theater.

Parker began her career on Broadway as Annie and has had many memorable appearances on the Great White Way, including How to Succeed… with hubby Matthew Broderick.

Update: A rep for the play denies the report currently circulation and says that Sarah Jessica is not involved with Boeing.

    Boeing Boeing!???!! It was a crappy play in the 60's and will be a crappy play now. It's about a stewardess who has a husband in the US and a husband in Europe….yea…it was shocking in the 60's, a big snore now.

    How many SEXY CITY movies can you possibly make in your worthless lifetime? THis dirty bitch needs to go into retirement as soon as possible. Every time she shows up in a movie, the movie tends to really SUCK from that point forward. Judging by the Box office receipts- I tend to think that there are millions who agree with me. I hate HER.     OMG! I saw this show in London recently… It was 'Laugh out Loud' funny… My boyfriend and I are in NYC in May, I'd love to see SJP doing it… The Itallian FA was quite the feisty one! Over here, the American FA seemed to be the star role-certainly the most sexy of the characters.

    People who slag off SJP clearly have not appreciated sex and the city. Yes she may be a lot older now but she played an older single gal in satc! I love her she is a true fashion icon not just in carrie but in herself and her bitten clothing line is a more scaled down Carrieish look. All in all stop slagging until you have been in one of the most popular loved sitcoms of america, have a clothing line, and a new movie. I love SJP!
