Details are a bit sketchy, but….

Naomi Campbell is currently in a Brazilian hospital.

The supermodel was taken in for a mysterious "infection."

She is being treated by one of the country's top infections specialists, according to hospital officials.

Journalist Johnathan Wheatley told Sky News that Campbell underwent four-and-a-half hours of surgery.

For an infection????

He said she is being treated by an insectologist who said she went to Brazil specially for the treatment.

Sounds majorly sketch!

I heard from someone here in the UK that she had to have a cyst removed that was caused by a parasite. So it COULD be an infection, a parasitic infection. She is a world traveller after all.

Um yeah you can totally need surgery for an infection. In fact you can die from infections. My little sister had a staff infection on her leg at camp, her thigh blew up to the size of a balloon and no antibiotics were working. So they had to slice open her leg from the top of her thigh down to her ankle and then stick a vacuum in her leg to drain the rest of it out. If the infection had spread to her heart she could of died, and they almost had to amputate the leg.
