Stop the madness folks…I've been in the radio biz for almost 15 years & am VERY well connected to a majority of the promo people in the biz. This is no where close to being true AND if it does happen….Perez will only be used to test market new artists under consideration for being signed to WB & to help market some of their newly signed artists as well. You all must realize the amount of visitors each day does provide a record label with an accurate way of measuring interest in a particular artist. But, Perez will never become a true A & R person since he lacks (their words) not mine…actual knowledge of promoting and marketing an artist…along with keeping an open mind in regards to the various genres of music!

Relax folks…and to imply you have more ability and knowledge than someone like Madonna shows exactly how delusional you are buddy. Keep acting like a hypocrite and making racial comments (nice edit by the way) when you get your green hair in a bunch when someone insults you. You're simply a phase of pop culture that will be forgotten in a couple of years when someone replaces you.

Funny little response there buddy…we agree that internet is a growing medium. Radio must embrace it order to promote itself & use it to promote new music and also keep it's content fresh. But you're kidding yourself if you think radio is dead. Keep dreaming…and besides….you failed to see the point I'm making.

Perez might get a band "right" here and there…but overall, most of it never happens or gets noticed by the "outside Perez Hilton.com world". If they pay him to do something in regards to marketing artists….it's burning money with no positive end result.

Mark my words…in 2-3 years, Perez will be as relevant online as Lance Bass is now in the music biz.

Perez, I can honestly say that as a diehard fan of your site, I totally trust your judgment in music. I love the vocalist that are prominent in the industy but I do know there are ten times as many who don't receive the notoriety they deserve.
