Pete Wentz does more than just rawk and use a lot of hair products. He cares, y'all.
The Fall Out Boy bassist was in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday with Invisible Children, the not-for-profit organization aimed at raising awareness of the plight of children displaced by the bloody war in the Central African nation of Uganda.
Wentz met with members of congress, including Sen. Russell Feingold (above), to try and bring more attention to the issue.

Way to be up on pop culture Perez! The video for their song "I'm like a lawyer" was all about this issue, the video was shot in Africa, and they talk about it in interviews about the video. Sounds like this shouldn't be a suprise to "The Queen of All Media".

I saw this sketchy big black van this morning with the words invisible children on it and its windows were all blacked out in McLean, VA and thought it was like a van that kidnaps children until I told my husband and he told me what it was really about. Just think, Dirty Pete could have been in that VAN with Trashy Ashley!!!
I actully "adopted" a child threw this project and it has been wounderful! I love that i can help a child have a real chance at life. Im glade he is using his star power for something good..
