Maxim Does It Again!

Yesterday, we told you how Maxim made up a review for the Black Crowes' new album War Paint without even listening to the album!
They have since apologized.
Now, reports are surfacing that Maxim has done it again, this time with Nas.
The rapper was shocked when Maxim also gave his new album, titled N - - - - r, a 2.5 star review, even though the album isn't even finished yet!
Nas has said, "I'm finishing the album now, and it will be out April 22."
Maxim has apologized for the review, but it doesn't make a difference to Nas. He said, "I'd prefer [a review from] Playboy. That kind of stuff doesn't reach my radar or effect anybody around me. I don't know what a music rating from Maxim is . . . I don't know what it even means really."

The impoverished American bums at Maxim cannot afford to purchase CDs and all their wretched "writing" is submitted months before publication therefore they make up reviews. This is why I, The Greek Giant, use a Maxim intern's uncombed head to wipe my ass after taking a Giant dump each morning. That is all.
Who would even listen to an album called "N - - - - r"? And Why? An album is for music or the comedic spoken word right? So how the fuck would the word "album" have any association in the formal sense with garbage of the likes of something named "N - - - - r"…???

The magazine is a mishmash of stuff to appeal to guys, so they have the obligatory movie and CD reviews which contain little substance other than a passing snarky comment. Like I said, their biggest embarrassment was having quotewhore Peter Hammond review all the movies glowingly.

anyway, they do this with video games as well. they review them way before they're out and even before game sites and magazines get them!!

Yeah Maxim is a great Mag, but thier reviews are crap, they also review movies that are not out yet that they cannot get screeners for and thier game reviews are the same. The review games that are still being made.

If Nas thinks his review doesn't matter in Maxim, he is naive. We are already aware of the Crowes album "review'. Sometimes "reviewers" make or break an album for a potential listener. They have lied about their whole review process. No part of this is good for the music business!!!!!!!!!!

The reviewer has a byline , I would assume. Get personal and out this slacker , he\she\it is not going the job AT ALL , much less with style and insight , which is necessary when you critique.
