Gwen used to create her own clothes back in the day (try 80s). I used to be a gwenabie in the 90s….but now…she sold out. NO DOUBT where are you?? Madonna is a used up hag. The responses here are ridiculous. Both of these women are talented and innovative. They are gifted at blending trends and creating new looks and sounds, that defy anything else in the mainstream music biz. Both are self-grown. Neither was a Mickey Mouse Clubber or a studio confection. They have self-determined their careers and made daring and creative choices. Both hits and misses, as will inevitably happen if someone takes risks. As for the comparison, obviously, Madonna is the ultimate influence and innovator, whereas Gwen has genuine unique lyrical and singing talent. Both boggle the mind on stage. While they have similarities, but are both the rare "real thing." And kudos to both of them for continuing to grow and take risks in both their personal and professional lives.
