The Puppini Sisters are no exception!
We don't even know if they're actually related, but this trio from London totally brings an Andrews Sisters vibe to their songs.
Their vintage twist on the '80s classic by The Bangles, Walk Like An Egyptian, is just delicious.

They ain't sisters. The only Puppini girl is the brunette in the middle. She is actually italian. They're great. Their first album rocked!

The Puppinni Sisters are awesome. They aren't related, just friends from music school in London. They were voice majors, but started this group for fun and it kind of took off. My dad has been playing them on his jazz radio show for months.
The music is awesome. Their singing is a little on the loud side, but other than that, it sounds really good

Its not so much the retro movement as the fact that Britain generally understands good music unlike the US who are only interested in manufactured pop and hip hop acts.

They're not actually sisters, but they started out as a tribute to the Anderson Sisters (of Boogie Woogie Bugal Boy fame). One is Italian (I think the brunette), and the other two are British. They also do a ridiculous version of Beyonce's "Crazy in Love." They are phenomenal!

The music industry has been so fake and plastic. People are rebelling. They want music that inspires, helps, heals, and something they can jam to.
I am really relieved that music and talent (vocally) are coming back in style. Maybe music can go back to being music and not "tits and half-talent" as usual prescription.

listened to it, went to the myspace link, listened to it….. blah, all of the songs sounded the same, and i didn't really get turned on by any of it. kinda sounded like the ska/big band movement that happened in the mid-90s, but crappy.

Ha Ha !!!. He has been forced to mention "Duffy". I had an email conversation with Perez months ago about Duffy. He chose Adele (yuk) instead. I told him he was backing the wrong horse . Now Duffy has exploded in the UK going straight to #1 & staying there, he has not got a grasp on reality. Her album drops next week & will go straight to #1 believe me. All the serious US music critics have already picked up on Duffy. Perez will be late to the party as usual.Do a Utube search on 'Duffy' & you will get there before Perez & his stupid French crap.
I have their album. I really bought it for my husband who is Italian and likes that kind of music. No , they are not related.
