Britain's Prince Harry has been fighting the Taliban in Afghanistan since late December '07!
The rebel prince, who is third in line for the throne, has been directly involved in battle and is taking part in some new offensives targeting the Taliban.
Apparently, Australian magazine New Idea and the German daily Bild have broken world embargoes on the development.
We figure most media outlets were probs reluctant to report this because of safety concerns for the Prince.
Harry has been called "magnificent soldier" and an "inspiration to all of Briton."
He's got cojones!
Update: Chief of the General Staff Sir Richard Dannatt, who is head of the British Army, said he was disappointed the news had leaked.
In a statement, he said: “I am very disappointed that foreign websites have decided to run this story without consulting us."

OK, this may sound unconventional, but I think Harry's great in the military bc it's in his stars. OK, follow me for a moment. I just looked it up and he's born on the same day as my dad (who did 20 yrs in the army as a special operations officer). So maybe people born on Sept. 15th are just really good military strategists and athletes. It's uncanny how acurate that stuff can be sometimes.

He isn't the only person out there but now that places his entire platoon at huge risk, and there are fathers and mothers in that platoon who now have an incredibly higher chance of dying thanks to him. You can bet taliban/al queda will be on the lookout - imagine what a score for the cause to kill a royal - and again I say thing for the folks in his platoon who will die too. Isn't it funny that of all the US senators and congressmen - NONE of their children are in Iraq or Afghanistan? #4 - Chloe, Harry always wanted to fight, and it was concern for not just his safety, but for the safety of those he was fighting with that kept the authorities that be from allowing it before.
He is a huge kidnap target, which makes it unsafe for all colleagues and staff around him. You say "He isn't the only person out there" - and that is precisely why his involvement has been disallowed in the past.
It was incredibly irresponsible of Perez to make this post - but then, it wouldn't be the first time British soldiers were killed by American "friendly fire"
