Still Hospitalized

Supermodel and assistant assailant Naomi Campbell is still recovering from surgery in a Brazilian hospital.
Doctors removed a cyst from Campbell's ovaries on Monday.
The hospital released the following statement to ABC News: "We have been instructed to not release any information regarding Naomi. All I can tell you is that she is still at the hospital and that she is recovering very nicely."
The hospital rep and the catwalk queen's publicist, Jeff Raymond, reportedly do not know how long Campbell would remain there.
Honey, we hope you're okay. And when you get out, milk this story for some sympathy.
And try to get some money out of it too!

This happened to me, my cyst burst though b/c they didn't catch it. Most painful experience of my life! For once I sympathize with the beast they call naomi.

Ummm, I had a large tumor removed from my ovary and I woke up from surgery, sitting in a chair and went home 2 hours later…..this can't be real.

No way she's in there for ovarian cysts. I had one removed and I went home in a few hours and was back to work in 3 days. She's obviously getting cosmetic surgery of some sort. What bullshit.

I think more women need to know about ovarian cysts, b/c it happens all the time but doctors constantly misdiagnose it. I was in the hospital for 9 hours before they knew what was going on, and how to treat it. So spread the icky info girls! It may save some girl a lot of unnecessary pain and hospital time.

I had an ovarian cyst once and the doctor wouldn't remove it until it was as big as an orange and i had do go to surgery. The worst pain in the world!
I could go home after 2 days, but then again mine was huge and miss NC was apparently tiny…

I won't wish anything bad for her but like others have said, Karma is a Bitch and so is Naomi - even before her cell phone incident, years before there were rumors of her temper and abuse - there were stories that she was dating DeNiro and had been abusive to him, hitting, etc.
yep. ovarian cysts are pretty common with us chicks. it can be removed with laparoscopic surgery (surgery used with a small camera). its an out-patient surgery (meaning your ass is out ASAP), but really that is no big deal because you're fine enough to leave immediately.
when i had mine i had two small incisions that took all of three or four stitches (altogether; not even separately) to close. the cyst itself was extremely painful before the surgery, but i felt *worlds* better after it. the worst pain afterwards was shoulder pain from the co2 they place into the abdomen to expand it so they can see better. the co2 rises and presses against the phrenic nerve causing shoulder pain. i was sent home with pain meds, but didn't even use them. the pain just wasnt that bad.
maybe they are keeping her in because of the shoulder pain?

It happened to me too. I had the laproscopic surgery (just like Naomi) and was out of the hospital about an hour after I came to. She's either there for something else or milking it for way more then its worth. Suck it up and go home!!!!
I hope she dies… that way more innocent animals might live, rather than being used to adorn her ageing, and rejecting body… probably might be a good idea for her to cut down on the drugs, and phone-throwing tantrums at subordinates just trying to make a living.

My ovarian cyst was removed when I was 17 yrs old. The dr wanted to "Look" inside, so we didnt do laser surgery. If Naomi was cut open, recovery time is REALLY long. I was in the hospital for 5 days. Then afterwards, it was PAINFUL as hell.
Maybe she had complications? Or more than one cyst? If so, thats why she is in there longer, so why's everyone got to bitch about it?

SO THAT YOU KNOW:
THERE ARE FUNCTIONAL CYSTS. THESE ARE NOT DANGEROUS. THEY COME AND GO. THEY GROW LARGE. THEY BURSTS. YOU CAN LAPS ON THEM GO HOME IMMEDIATELY.
HOWEVER, THERE ARE COMPLEX CYSTS. WHEN YOU FOUND YOUR CYSTS IT WAS PROBABLY ON AN ULTRASOUND. THE DR REVIEWS AND DECIDES AT THIS POINT. FUNCTIONAL OR COMPLEX - IT ALL DEPENDS ON THE CONSISTENCY.
COMPLEX CYSTS MUST BE REMOVED WITH SURGERY. SOMETIMES A DR. HAS TO PERFORM A LAPARATOMY NOT LAPARASCOPY - WHICH IS A VERY LONG HOSPITAL STAY AND SIX WEEKS AT HOME. THEY CUT YOUR STOMACH ALL THE WAY ACROSS.
DURING SURGERY A FROZEN SECTION WILL BE PERFORMED ON THE CYST TO SEE IF IT TESTS AS BENIGN, LOW MALIGNANT OR MALIGNANT.
FYI: OVARIAN CANCER IS A MASS, A TUMOR, SOMETHING THAT ORIGINALLY DIAGNOSED AS A CYST BEFORE IT UNDERWENT FURTHER TESTING. THOSE OF YOUR WITH BURST CYST, PCOS, ETC….THIS IS NOT THAT TYPE OF CYST.
