It's confirmed!

The Los Angeles Police Department are "looking into" the allegations that someone drugged Britney Spears, but have yet to decide if opening a formal investigation is necessary.

Looks like they're following up on claims BritBrit mom's made - that Sam Lutfi drugged her daughter and tried to control her life!

The restraining order against Osama is still in effect. And, he got served! Praise the Lord.

The pop tart is also still under the court-ordered 'care' of Poppa Spears.

We're just glad that she appears to be doing better!

      LAPD is pretty much obliged to look into any filed complaint. Though I think Sam Lufti is a SNAKE IN THE GRASS, I honestly think Mr. and Mrs. Spears should let this one go, provided that there's no lasting damage to Britney's health, bank account, etc. It just keeps Lufti in the news which is what he wants.

      Taking advantage of a mentally ill individual and calculatingly robbing her of her earnings while illegally drugging her is as bad as murder in my mind. These types of individuals play havoc on society! I feel sorry for this girl, she was propelled into stardom at an age where she should have been a normal girl in grade school, was told what to do throughout her life, built a financial empire for herself and many others, and is now trapped in a lifestyle she did not have the capacity to predict. Now, she cannot function without supervision, is divorced, and has little access to her own children. I cannot imagine a more miserable existence. Blame Lynne Spears, not Britney. She is a product of her dysfunctional environment, and has been raised to be completely dependent on others to survive.
