Amy Winehouse has sparked an international clash of the titans!

Big media players in the US and the UK are reportedly desperate to nab an exclusive, no-holds-barred interview with the newly minted Grammy winner.

We're sure they just wanna talk about her music, suuuure!

You know what this means? Wino stands to make a lot of money off her dramz, if she wants.

In the US corner: CNN superstar interviewer, Larry King and the grand dame of all talkers, Oprah. Both have supposedly pressed Winehouse's people for the sitdown. According to sources, CNN's King even sent a begging memo to her offices which read: "I would love to have Amy on - as soon as she is well and ready."

UK media pulled out their big guns as well. A top anchorman, Sir Trevor McDonald is planning a one-off Tonight special with Amy and has already made discreet inquires as to whether she would consider doing it.

Sir Trevor reportedly admitted that the US has a money advantage but is still confident that he can win Wino over.

Yeah, right.

Money talks! The U.K. pays more for trainwreck interviews. How do you think Kerry Katona pays the bills????

      God Kerry katona is a waste of space!!! I think Amy would probably prefer to do an interview on home soil though, and Trevor McDonald is so lovely!!! I remember the first time I heard Amy, way way back when Trevor Nelson had the RnB chart on a Saturday afternoon. I want that Amy back!!

      Does Larry King even pay for interviews? Does Oprah? I don't think either of them do … People go on their shows to PROMOTE film, book, album etc.. or fpr good P.R following Prison [Paris!] or DUI's etc..

      When it's serious interviewers they rarely pay - the people that pay are the magazines & things like Entertainment Tonight etc…
