Desperate Housewives has resumed production and they are busy at work trying to add new faces to their current cast.

Spicing things up!

As we mentioned earlier this week, the casting agents at Desperate Housewives are trying to raise the ratings and keep people watching. They've resorted to adding new cast members to spice things up, like The O.C.'s Chris Carmack.

Now, new reports are surfacing that Academy Award nominated actress Julianne Moore will appear in upcoming episodes.

Julianne will play Bree's sister (naturally) and is scheduled to appear in three episodes, including the season finale.

Two redheads on Desperate Housewives? Hot!

But even with all the new characters, will U still want to watch?

YES (!) I still want to watch! This season was getting up there with Season 1 in terms of juice and interesting plotlines. The show's gotten MUCH better than in the lagging intermittent seasons! I can't WAIT!

I'll watch! I know it's gone seriously downhill, but I still have hope. :/ I loved it when the show first started.

The people writing TV shows these days need to understand drama … and INSANE drama. They take all the shows way beyond what they should, it kills them. For ones I loved, I keep some hope and continue to watch - just in case.

Desperate Housewives is one of my favorite shows. This season has been great, and I wouldn't have missed an episode if not for the writer's strike. I TiVo it each week. Julianne Moore is a great choice to play Bree's sister.
