Pregnant woman uses train toilet, baby slips out
A newborn baby girl survived an ignoble birth after slipping down the toilet bowl of a moving Indian train onto the tracks when a pregnant woman unexpectedly gave birth while relieving herself on Tuesday.
"My delivery was so sudden," said the Bhuri Kalbi, the mother of the infant, born two months prematurely. "I did not even realize that my child had slipped from the hole in the toilet."
Kalbi, a 33-year-old woman from a village in Rajasthan, fainted on the toilet seat after the birth for a few minutes before waking up and alerting her family.
"They stopped the train and ran on the tracks to find the baby," she said, speaking from her hospital bed in the western city of Ahmedabad.
Railway staff at a nearby station were alerted and soon found the newborn girl lying uninjured on pebbles by the track. She is now in intensive care because of her premature birth, doctors said.
Most toilets on Indian trains are filthy chutes emptying directly onto the tracks.

Guys, she delivered the placenta and baby at the same time. The chord isn't attached to the mom, but to the placenta.
Why doesn't anyone know??? An umbilical cord is connected to the placenta, which comes out shortly after the baby. Anyonre heard of 'afterbirth?'

No one needs to cut the cord. The placenta, which is connected to the cord, will detatch from the mother a few minutes the baby is born.

Hey morons, the umbilical cord is attached to the placenta. They probably both came out really quickly. If she were going poo, it's really quite possible she didn't realize until it was too late that her pre-me baby was coming out too. The baby was two months early and only about 3 lbs. Believe me, if you've had back labour if feels like you're trying to shit out the baby.
Yes, it can just "slip out"..if it was small enough and if she has had kids in the past, it is very possible for it to happen. Also, for those of you saying how did she not know she was pregnant or that she didnt know she was having a baby…it clearly states that she passed out after it was born…and believe it or not…I didnt feel anything in my second pregancy until I was about 5 months…not every pregancy is the same. My sister had her period for 6 months before she knew she was pregnant..things like that do happen…as for the umbilical cord…if the baby came out with the placent and all then she would not had to of cut it or anything. That happens too. For people who dont have kids…you obviously wouldnt know these things, therefore you instantly assume it's all bullshit.
