She's one of the few It girls that actually have talent - some of her performances have been great. She's made her own money, and has had to deal with the pressure of supporting a troublesome family from a young age. Unfortunately she let the issues in her personal life affect her performance and professionalism by losing her focus, and now that she's working through her problems, she's suffering the consequences. Personally, I believe that although she has some talent-she has also made her mark on Young Hollywood. When you think of Lindsay, most of us do not reflect on her wonderful roles in the Disney pictures years ago, we think of how she has faded out of "starlight, starbright" and has slipped into this phase of paranoia and sheer irresponsibility.
