The Crocodile Hunter's father, Bob Irwin, has resigned from the zoo he helped to build over 36 years ago!
Why'd he quit????
There's been major dramz with Steve Irwin's widow, Terri!
Rumours of an Irwin family feud have been circulating since January and volunteers and a disgruntled employee have recently claimed staff were upset that Poppa Bob had been banned from the Australia Zoo after an argument with Terri.
The elder Irwin was reportedly upset with Terri Irwin over treatment of staff, management of Wildlife Warriors and the commercial direction of the world-famous attraction.
Bob has vowed to keep his son's dream alive at a new property he has bought near Kingaroy, northwest of Brisbane.
In his resignation letter, Poppa Irwin thanks zoo staff, Animal Hospital workers, Wildlife Warriors and "all Steve's friends out there", but makes no reference to Terri or her contribution to his son's conservation empire or to the raising of his grandchildren, Bindi and Bob.
Terri Irwin has refused to comment on Bob's departure.

So sorry to read this shit. You know that family is going through some serious pain. I'm not sure how I feel about Bindi being allowed to be so famous and out in the public eye so quickly. Doesn't matter anyway, Terri's the one there with her every day. She's her mother, and seems to really adore her children, so I'm sure everything will be fine. Posting this in 2 parts. Apparently there is a "limit" on posts.
First of all, Steve would take these two out back (pun intended) and knock their heads together. Then he would stand by his father. That said, if you were paying attention at all, Steve helped develop and supported all of the commercial ventures that Terri is managing. He was the one who created Bindi's show, and would have starred in it with her. He was the one who created Wildlife Warriors, in order to fund his land acquisitions to perpetuate natural habitat in Australia. In a late interview, Steve enthusiastically discussed plans to open a Las Vegas attraction to expand his business to America. These are only a few of the projects that Terri has inheirited responsibility to promote. I'm sure that Steve and she had a complete understanding of how he wanted Bindi raised, and how his legacy should be managed. You guys crapping on Terri are ignorant and heartless. She is a great mom, and represents Steve like a beacon. I am not surprised that only a short time after Steve's death that there is some post traumatic emotional meltdown going on. Terri and Bob Irwin are grieving in very different ways, and I imagine as a man, Bob sometimes wishes he had more control.
Part 2:
Concerning Bindi, I expect that if Terri sees her development endangered by her activities, particularly during her teen years, that she will discontinue any projects that prevent her from having normal social interaction. So I wish them the best as always, and hope that the nasty comments don't cause anyone more pain. These folks deserve respect.

That little girl does not have a normal life and will grow up to be seriously psychologically damaged. Bindi's appearances on various talk shows clearly indicate that something is not right; i.e. behavior etc. I think that child is being pushed beyond her limit.
Terri is using her daughter as a tool to maintain the lifestyle she was accustomed to when Steve was alive.
If Terri was living in the United States, the Department of Children and Family Services would be investigating her for child abuse.

If this is true it is really sad. I understood that the dad and mom had passed ownership of the zoo to their son years ago. Then the mom died in a tragic car crash…then Steve died. I thought he had done a lot of planning as he knew he was in a dangerous field of work, and the zoo and wild life conservation work would go on smoothly.
I would hope for the good of the 2 darling children that the Grandpa could be supportive and non-judgemental…Terri has a huge job ahead of her and could use the help and family support I am sure. She always spoke so warmly of Steves parents and sisters, and Wes.

This is really sad. Bob is such a great guy and he and Steve were so very close, especially since Steve's mom died. Steve often talked about their close realtionship.
