Perez, please don't quickly assume. I mean it's like saying Justin Timberlake wants to be a draq queen just because he dressed up once as a girl on SNL. That sketch done by Ellen Page was really beautiful especially the end. Wasn't it you Perez that said lesbians love Ellen Page? Well, maybe she was trying to give some kind of recognition or tribute as well as give a message of understanding of GLBTs.

She's our new Jodie Foster! And she loves Jodie Foster so she is taking of from her idol. Whether she's gay or not people are going to say she is because she is a tomboy. But you know what tomboy doesn't always equal lesbian people. It's because today in our pop culture we see all these cookie cutter slutty looking young girls that Ellen is different so they try to put a label on her. And if she is a lesbian, good for her. Why treat it as something that is such a big deal. And I'm sure she would do the smart thing like Jodie Foster and not make a big deal out of it. Jodie just thanked her girlfriend in her speech once and that was it. You don't have to make a huge announcement to the world about your private life.

ellen page was out in Canada before Juno and the Oscars. she is a long time proud lesbian. It's the US audience that has a problem with her sexuality. The US focuses on people's sexuality and not their talent that's why she's back in the closet. She's just trying to get her career going in Hollywood, which can't happen in the US if she's out. Once she has reached a certain success threshold (i.e. actually win an oscar) , she'll be able to come out again.
Who knows if she's gay or not? You can't just assume because of a skit on SNL that she's coming out… does that mean that Ben Affleck is gay, because of his lil skit on Kimmel?? Please. Quit STARTING rumours, and let people be.

The skit was a bit off for SNL, but I liked it nonetheless. You go, Ellen!
My husband and I saw it and thought she was a pretty convincing lesbian. She's probably using it to come out subtlely. It was nothing like Justin Timberlake dressing in drag as one of your usually retarded posters said. It was clearly her doing her thing, lesbian and all. Go Ellen, do your thing girl. She's a great actress and that's what we should worry about, not her personal life.
