I have admired Oprah for many years-ever since she was just getting her start on Broadway with her one woman show. I rooted for her when she got the Color Purple role and all the way to rich&famous. Wow…for a moment there, I actually believed that Hillary Clinton wouldn't fall back on the age-old trick of crying that she's a victim. But hey the stakes are much too high in this race for her to hold onto that wafer thin set of morals that she claims to have. I think it did well in the ratings because nothing else good was on and because of the enormous hype that went on about the show. I watched it because there was nothing else on I was interested in. I won't watch it next time - hopefully something better will be on (Amazing Race?) or I'll read a book. It was over done, too much going on too quickly, the rules or reasons for actions were not at all clear, the judging was strange, and it was sappy and fake. There were a number of "contestants" who seemed to have Oprah's "I am the new savior" complex. The show was a mess.

There is no way that the Clintons will walk away from this until they are forced to. When they get up there and tell you how they are fighters, what they are referring to is the fact that they know how to fight to keep themselves comfortably employed. And they have the experience of taking that endeavor right to the edge of the law (as it applies to the other 300 million of us) and beyond. Obama was barely mentioned in the press, especially on TV before Super Tuesday. Only when he won several states and Hillary did NOT blow him out of the race, did the press give him any attention. I would say now their coverage is equal. Obama is the front runner, not Hillary.
