Avon is one of the most generous and consistent corporate philanthropists out there. I know that in a few short years they have given hundreds of thousands of dollars for food for women suffering from breast cancer to the nutrition non-profit I work for in San Francisco, and I firmly believe that they have saved lives through improving medical outcomes for these women, many of whom can barely (or NOT at all) afford treatment, let alone have enough left over to eat properly. And eating properly in particular is beneficial for people going through intensive chemotherapy. I'm a big big fan of Avon because they have been doing what they do for a long time and as a professional fundraiser, they do it in a very clear, organized, and focused way. I think they are closer to saving the world than most corporations are.

Avon has been raising money for charity for a long time Perez. Every year for at least the past 20 years or so, they sell products that benefit breast cancer research.
