R.I.P.

The CW network is laying off 25 to 30 people.

They're also eliminating their comedy division.

Times are tough!

Blame Bush, we say.

Perez, the president doesn't have that much to do with the economy. Just because Bill Clinton was a president during a good economical period doesn't mean he had anything to do with it. Besides, then it was all the .com companies and most ended up in bankrupcy. You really need to educate yourself, muffin. I adore you, but your politics are not truthful. Don't let the media brainwash you. Shit. I just realized you have brainwashed me with celebushit. Thanks….evil, evil boy.

I blame the CW. They are idiots. Hell, they are cancleing their #2 show on the network, Friday Night Smackdown, because they want to change over to more Lifetime-style programming. Who needs more whiny, bichy programming? I like seeing big sexy guys walking around in outfits the size of drink coasters, beating the hell out of each other. that's my idea of "Women's Television". So, get ready for more Tyra and crap!

Why don't you stick to what you know, Perez? Surely you don't think anyone cares what you have to say about politics. I'm not a Bush lover but I know a clueless fuck when I see one.

"blame bush" yea, thats a solution that will solve everything. under the presidents administration the country had the most continous length of job growth ever. not to mention the fact that NOBODY reports on the amazing efforts he has put forth trying to combat aids and HIV in africa.

but go ahead and blame bush

I am sorry, but saying blame bush for layoffs at a tv network is not fair. First of all, he is the President. Call him president bush or george w. bush, thats rude. secondly, its totaly unecessary for you to be spewing your political veiws all over the place

      Good Day,

      Blame Bush? Huh?

How about blame the writer's strike as well as poor programming. Also - don't be suprised if the big three networks start doing the same. Cable and the dish will eventually kill "regular" T.V.

the network got rid of Everwood before it merged and then it got rid of Veronica Mars when it merged… It claimed it was going to carry the highest rated shows from each networtk (the WB and UPN) yet it got rid of Everwood (The WB's 4th highest rated show) and kept One Tree Hill (the 6th Highest rated show)… the people working on this network are morons and I hope it goes under! (and ANTM is picked up by another network along with Supernatural!!!!)

"The financial impact of the writers strike is said to have been a contributing factor in the layoffs." so now the writers strike is bush's fault too? i assume you want to blame bush for their low ratings as well? blame him for the things he is responsible for. if you are going to incorporate politcal commentary to your celebrity gossip site then at least try to not sound like an idiot.

come on perez-i love you and check out your web pg everyday and agree with you on most things, but "blame bush"…that's just ignorant. do your economic homework and see how much he has done for small business growth and also look at how the economy is cyclical. when bill clinton finally left office, our economy was in the shit hole-blah blah blah
