We're still praying those reports that Patrick Swayze has terminal pancreatic cancer are untrue.
His publicist has yet to issue a statement.
However, a very good source just told us the following:
"Patrick has been at rehearsals for a new cheer leading movie at century city studio frequently lately, and he definitely does not look like he has 5 more weeks of life left…im not sure of his medical condition(s), but if he is gravely ill, he is hiding it very well."
Let's hope he is not as gravely ill ("5 Weeks Left To Live") as is being reported!

I bet this is all fake hype and rumors after Jeff Healy's death from cancer on Sunday. They were in the movie Roadhouse together and supposedly were really good friends.

i sincerely hope the news is not true. i lost my grandmother to pancreatic cancer. you don't want cancer period but pancreatic cancer is one of the worst that you can possibly get. well, whether he has it or not, i hope that doctors can make strides with this awful disease.

If he has pancreatic cancer and only 5 weeks left to live, he would not be doing much of anything except laying in a hospital bed, screaming for pain killers. Every single male on my mother's side of the family has died from Pancreatic cancer and it is NOT a pleasant way to go.

Perhaps the reason this rumer got started is the musician (Jeff Healey) that was in Roadhouse with him died of cancer.

If the reports are true about Patrick having Pancreatic Cancer, my heart aches for him and his family!!! My Dad passed away three years ago from this gruesome cancer! He was diagnosed in Sept 04 and died in Feb 05. He was 9 days from turning 60. It's like as soon as they are diagnosed, they loose all the weight but then seem to turn around and bounce back, then BAM - out of no where it takes them

when are people ever going to learn. It's never the actions that cause problems. It's the lying about it. Just ask Martha Stewart. Rumors have been circulating for a while that he is sick. If those around him had addressed the rumors honestly, rather than outright lying (how long did the think they could keep such a deadly disease a "secret" and why) all of this would n't be happening. Having lost several members to pancreatic cancer, I would have to say I would not be surprised if we are reading his obituary soon. Pacreatic cancer cannot be cured with chemptherapy, surgery is the ONLY way, and that rarely helps.
