Avril's Tour Opens….To Disappointment

April Lavigne kicked off her world tour in Canada on Thursday night and, as expected, it sucked!
The reviewer for the Victoria Times Colonnist, who admitted to liking her music, had this to say about her show:
For the most part, I like Lavigne's music and have taken it upon myself to argue the point repeatedly to the non-fans who will listen.
But Wednesday night wasn't an occasion I would go on the record for with unwavering support.
Granted, it was the opening night of her world tour - which includes 15 dates in Canada - but the so-billed Best Damn Tour wasn't even the Somewhat OK Damn Tour; it was just plain disappointing.
Awww, poor April.
At least she has her troll husband's shoulder to cry on!

i saw her in concert before and it was the worst night of my life. i felt like setting fire to the venue to put her out of her misery. simple plan supported and they stole the show

Well I don't know how dates work in the US but here in Canada it's Thursday morning; and if her show opens Thursday night…well we have about 8-9 hrs to go before that happens. And you already know the show is gonna suck eh….you have some amazing talents.

I've got a few co-workers that went to the show last night with their daughters and they all said it was HORRIBLE! Not even their daughters enjoyed it.
People here in Victoria couldn't have cared less that she was opening her tour here last night.

of course she sucks, she's a complete phony. She's a result of major record label marketing and research; they wanted an act that can appeal to tweener females in the suburbs.

i went to the concert, it actually was much better than expected! it was a little too much pink sparkles but she played the drums and guitar and her piano wouldn't work so she quickly opted just to sit and sing.
this is coming from a no so bit avril fan but the concert was great for the cutsie punk rock kids btw the ages of 7-14

I was there and all I can say is I WANT MY MONEY AND MY HOUR AND A HALF BACK!!!!!..and I got the tickets for free!! The radio stations were practically begging people to take them!

I was there. I liked it a lot. She was really energetic and into it. The crowd actually wasn't preteen girls I don't know where the writer got that from, it was late teen early 20s from what I saw.
