Greasy Got Beat Down!

Brandon "Firecrotch" Davis was robbed and beaten outside of a nightclub in Barcelona, Spain, while traveling with his girlfriend, Australian model Cheyenne Tozzi, on a trip a few weeks ago, In Touch Weekly reports.

Davis lost more than $4,000 in cash (coke money) as well as his credit cards and his $49,000 watch.

Brandon was also quite banged up during the little "incident."

A friend says, "He had a black eye and a bloody lip…Brandon was just glad that he wasn't killed."

Davis probably made the whole thing up so he could claim the insurance money on his watch.

We wouldn't put it past him!

barcelona is a stunning city but its full of gypsy and smackhead thieves. if you hang around La Ramblas for more than 30 seconds you are in the minority if someone doesn't try and rob you. I saw a bag snatched for the first time in my life in Barcelona, then I saw it once more in the same city. Also I think its suspect that he ewas carrying that amount of money around . He must of being trying to score drugs, its pretty easy to get them in Spain. Their love of drugs is only beaten by my country, England. He was probably being loud and high, waving cash around bars and making himself the easiest target of the year.

I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. I heard lots of horror stories about the crime rate in Barcelona but then I spent a few weeks there last summer and NOTHING BAD HAPPENED!! There are some common sense rules to follow:
1) Dress well (lose the shorts/tshirt look) and no white sneakers (too touristy/American)
2) Don't have a camera hanging from your shoulder/neck
3) Don't open up a map in the middle of the street
4) Don't get into conversations with strangers who want to provide some sort of service
5) for women: carry purses/bags in front of you across your chest, not hanging from one shoulder
I spent plenty of time in Las Ramblas and lots of crowded places and I can happily report that no one from our party (of 4) felt even remotely unsafe or threatened.
I'd go back to Barcelona tomorrow if I could!!
