Apparently, the party game 'Gas Chamber' (snorting vodka shots) is the new 'Quarters' in certain circles these days.
Sounds like fun!
Medics say it's dangerous because it gets alcohol absorbed directly into the bloodstream. The hotness that is Prince Harry was caught playing the game last year.
The newest player? None other than Rehab star Amy Winehouse.
She reportedly took part in the game at the London branch of Bungalow 8 recently.
That explains why she left the lounge looking LIKE THIS!
Treatment was a waste of money for the Ames!
Why didn't any of her 'friends' stop her from playing the 'game'?

This has been around for a while. The game itself is new, but snorting vodka is called a "snooter" and it's used in a lot of initiation or hazing based events, more than parties. However, it is an awesome head buzz. You get drunk without getting any form of nausea because it never hits your stomach. But I don't like the idea of making a game out of it because you do get so drunk so fast. It's fine, like a shot, but more than that is just silly. BTW, make sure you choose a smooth, high quality vodka, or it will burn like a mother the whole way up!!!!
Gas chamber doesn't require you to "snort" alcohol. It requires burning it, collecting the vapours and then inhaling them, snorting it would just be clearly stupid and dangerous. Hey guys! I'm from the uk and the Gas chamber game has been around for years. you don't exactly snort neat vodka this is how it goes:
1) you pour a shot's worth of Vodka/Tequila or whatever onto little plate or something.
2) you set it alight then quickly put a glass over the top to trap the gas that burns off.
3) Once the flame goes out you poke a straw under the side and suck the gas out really fast.
4) Any alcohol left on the plate gets tipped onto the base of the glass then snorted up your nose (this isn't like a whole shots worth just a trickle and most the alcohol has already been burned off).
It does get you drunk really fast but i've never heard anything about it being dangerous.
