This is very good news!

Some of the big media moguls met secretly with the Screen Actors Guild to discuss a new contract.

Like the writers before them, SAG's deal with the power producers is set to expire this summer.

And EVERYBODY is looking to avoid another work stoppage!

SAG wasn't supposed to start meeting with the media moguls until April. So this is a very very good development.

      Can someone please tell me why they have to meet secretly? I'm mean is a clandestine mission really necessary to resolve an issue that the entire entertainment world knows exists and that we all want resolved as to avoid another onslaught of really bad reality shows. It just seems kind of overly dramatic and unnecessary, but then I guess we are talking about actors.
