NBC is talking to Kathie Lee Gifford about plotting her comeback to television.

Regis's former sidekick might be going to the peacock network to host the fourth hour of the Today show.

They must really be desperate!

      i have to say good for her. i was feeling sorry for her. she could not get ANYTHING going for 8 years now. i mean off off broadway shows and failing albums isn't good. she was meant to be a tv host so this would be good for her. she's got nothign else to do. at least it will keep her productive. she can't sing or act. so being a tv personality is her best bet. and she was good with regis.

      Please don't let it be true. lThe nightmares have just stopped and I was finally able to sleep with the nightlite off. The very thought of having that voice come thru my tv again, makes me want to take a hammer to it. In fact I think I will just in case it may be true.       wow. i never thought her that bad really. and i didn't know she was high maintenance or awful to the crew. she seemed to live her "christian" ethics. maybe not. she sure never showed up on regis and kelly ever. i know she tried out for good day live, the view, rosie o'donnell's old time slot, and finally got the insider job. i'm thinking she's been trying to get back on tv for awhile and i figure she can't screw up the fourth hour of today show (who the hell watches that???) too much. she probably wouldn't get paid that much either since it's viewership is struggling. she doesn't seem like she could do that much damage really. so more power to her. now bash me again! i love it!

      I like her sooooo much better than Kelly. They both may be irritating, but Kathie Lee seemed to understand that and go with it. Ripa seems to have NO clue how irritating she is- which makes her unwatchable for me. Kathie Lee was a different cat, and I found her irritatingly watchable.
