When Esquire discovers a Web site that calls Clooney "gay, gay, gay," the good-natured actor quips, "No, I'm gay, gay. The third gay – that was pushing it."

No wonder the word homophobic exists. All of this outing by bullying gay men swarming others with regard to their sexuality is getting old. It is fine for gay men to encourage others to come out but the reality is that many youth have tried to do so and have had a great deal of crisis in their life as a result of this still path less travelled.
Kids having to change schools, being bullied, suiciding etc. Sexuality is not something in this society in general….with the exception of major urban areas that a youth of today can feel free to speak and act openly with regard to his sexuality. Some maybe but most no.

As George gets older and more powerful in Hollywood, there is less incentive, although there are still many, for him to stay in the closet. With his temperment, however, he may just surprise everyone and come out, just not anytime soon. He can act straight in the best Hollywood tradition… Valentino, Hudson, Mineo, Burr, Perkins, Hunter, Madison, Cliff….to today, Cruise, Clooney, Damon, Affleck et. al. they are too numerous to mentions.

There is something just so tacky to me about someone vehemently insisting that they are not gay. Even when they are not gay. It's like saying no- I don't have that disease. I met GC several years ago at the club where I worked as a cocktail waitress. He is truly one of the nicest people I have ever met. He actually introduced himself to me saying, "Hi. I'm George." He tipped huge, bought me shots, and signed an autograph for my mom. Of all the celebs out there- George Clooney is the coolest.
